Plain text files
For short drafts I keep a single file per topic in plain text. A dated filename and a one-line title at the top are usually enough; formatting stays minimal on purpose.

Bookmark folders
Browser bookmarks are grouped by broad topic, not by date. Each folder gets a short label so I can file a link quickly without reorganizing the whole tree.
